Fort du Bruissin – Contemporary Art Center The Fort du Bruissin is a military armory, built during the 19th century. Designed by the General Sere de Riviere, it is part of a military fortification running from Lille to Toulon (from north to south of France). This architectural construction of more than 3000m2, of which 2000m2 is in use for the exhibitions, is surrounded by 10 hectares of woods. After important renovations and since February 2008 it has hosted the Contemporary Art Center.

Nine fugues from Johann Sebastian Bach's Die Kunst der Fuge played on a monophonic analog bass synthesizer. The tracks on side A were played using the sawtooth wave. The tracks on side AA were played using the square wave. Limited edition chrome grade cassette. Acid green.

Projects that I approach as a graphic designer all follow a philosophy stating that form follows content. The visual style of each work is derived from the content that is provided. I attempt to experiment as much as possible with form and typography in order to achieve unique and unconventional visual elements. I believe that having a distinct style is what separates one designer from another, but it is important to know how to utilize that style and how content of the project can benefit from it. When working on projects I not only work for clients, but engage in an activity that enriches my visual context with objects of value that in turn characterize the culture.

hello SOLD-OUT.CH here is some words about me... In the beginning of my artistic process, I carried out some research work about the color, the style, the lighting, the framing, etc. In all my work I'm very precise on details, for me it's a whole. The esthetic is here to show people in a universe. And then my young brother's death makes me become conscious of the real roots of my artistic process, so I started to work mainly on the souvenirs, the way how we live daily this feeling, on the invention or the interpretation that memory put down on our souvenirs, the link which bind them to us and on the exchange between the mind and the matter. Are our souvenirs true or is there a part of interpretation? Did our souvenirs real and tolled are mixed? Did our mind is playing with us? If this relation is internal, I'm thinking also about the extern relation that we have with those "given up" souvenirs in objects, music, area, sunsets…etc. Our suffering, joy symbols are locked up inside them and we're living through them. When our body is not there anymore; the area, the object or any other manifest continue to live by this link. Those connections are invisible but, we feel them during all of our life and every time that our heart is beating a little bit too fast. Do we have to face up to those hidden symbols, to welcome them, to ignore them? I speak about very common things and I do not consider myself as an intellectual artist, but really as an artist linked to feelings, to emotions. In my work I ask questions but without any answers, without assertion.
